I have been trying out several skin changers, and I can't get any to work on Herms server. From what I can gather, it seems my skin changer must be installed on his server.

If this is true, I was wondering what skin changer I can use that already is installed, or if I find a good one might I get it installed.

If this is not the case, can someone tell me why my skins don't work?

bh this is the skin changer you gave me but its gone back to default skins again the program seems to be working but it still shows a male comando ive tried to change the skin but it not work im after a animated skin like darkmaters not the same but like that i found 1 skin on utpt that is annimated but it wont go on the game the red skin that i normaly use worked. but now its all

I have BNMod2 running and it is great...lots of skins....and it supports users running the BNMod on my server....

but herm only has BNMod installed it seems...and my skin doesn't show up on his....

I got the UT package tool Jarg told me about.
I chose some skin that makes me look tiger striped, some maps I see that and some maps I am green all over.
One thing I don't know and have never asked has anyone seen my skin on the server when I have been on?

I would like links to all of these skin changers you guys have, if you don't mind too much. I'd like to check them out. Especially that bn skinchanger II. :wink: :)

I have no control over skin changers. The idea of them though is so that you can have a different looking skin without a server admin having to upload and push them out to everyone. I hate doing that too so these skin changers are welcome but if they don't work, please don't come to me asking why. They exist so the admin is totally out of the equation if you do them right. Peace!

Wow cool, the bn Skinchanger 2 mod has 209 skins in it, with room for 90 more. I've looked at over 60 so far, and while many of them are variations on the colour grey, there are some really funny and cool looking ones in there too.
I also like the simpler interface, and the ability to change character voices with the mod. :)

The only bad thing about it is that you have to apply the skin after every match... I am sure there is a way around that though...

i found that out last night if you find out how to keep it applied without doing it yourself everymap let me know
