I have once again not listened to reason. I went out on a limb with my own judgement and it may be breaking from under me. I made changes to files for what I thought was the better, to find that I very well may have been barking up the wrong tree. These were original files and I can't turn back per say not to mention the many hours of work I put into this to make sure it works and it does but at a potential cost I was warned about earlier by Clementine.

I changed more maps names. More isn't the word. Many, many map names. note that disaster hasn't struck.........yet. I still feel that what I've done is for the much greater good and I acyually think this will only effect our 56Kers and people with hardly any space on their hard drives. This will not effect anyone until Feb/2004 BTW.

Though I'm confessing now to what I've done, I still plan to move forward and this may mean I will have to survive a big backlash of resistance from several of our favorite regulars. To them I apologize. In the end, this is really all about me and making things easier for me to administrate the server with less and less effort. This has to be this way for me right now due to big changes in my life starting this December. All is good. Don't get me wrong but I will surely have far much less time for the server in the very near future and these changes may be just enough to keep it going without me on it all of the time. Peace all!

Guilty as charged with the"Like to create for yourself" statement. In the very long run of things, I should be able to recreate CG almost anywhere at anytime and on almost any machine. I will have to eliminate a ton of maps but that's cool since I have way too many anyway and I don't like about half of them. I haven't done my count yet but I have finished sorting, cleaning, renaming and testing all of my maps and files that go with them. I've marked the ones I like but haven't counted them yet. I want to burn them off to CDs here pretty soon too to save all of the work I've done. I already have it all copied to another disk as is but want the added protection. Later. Peace.
