take your time. I see some value in renaming the Deck-like maps (having the names start with 'Deck' group them in the mapvote list), but with renaming the 1on1 maps, it's going in the opposite direction (taking off the '1on1' part scatters them in the mapvote list).
I tend to think that it is best not to rename maps, so players can easily go to other places and download the samp map. not only that, by not renaming the maps, there is zero chance of you introducing conflicting map names. by you introducing conflicting map names I mean you can rename a map today to say, DM-DeckTheBestDeckEver.unr, and a month later, a map comes along and is also called DM-DeckTheBestDeckEver.unr, now you'll have to rename at least one of them so you can have both maps on the server. so now you've spent time to rename two maps total when if you hadn't renamed the first map, you wouldn't have the conflict when the new map came along a month later and you have spent no time renaming maps.
I don't pay too much attention to the map names on the F1 screens as they are not consistent at all (I seem to remember seeing some map name on the F1 screen to say 'Untitled'). I only use the map name on the F1 screen as a guide; the filename for the map is what I consider to be the real map name.
