My name is Rudy, and I'm a graphic designer. OK, just to keep the fun going ... I found this: We here at drunkgamers feel that Apple's latest ad campaign has neglected a very important section of the PC buying community...gamers. We have done Apple a favor and created this commercial for them in order to show how gaming on the Mac is superior to gaming on the PC. Oh yeah here's a little info concerning Apple's "Financial Situation". Apple buys Focal Point Systems for it's FilmLogic film editing tool. Apple buys Spruce Technologies for it's DVD authoring tools. Apple buys Nothing Real which produces the Shake compositing software. Appe buys DVFonts and India Pro titling software from Prismo Graphics. Apple buys Silicon Grail, whose Rayz compositing software competes with Shake. Apple buys Zayante for its firewire device technologies Apple buys Emagic with its professional adio software, Logic Audio. These purchases add up to about 80 million dollars. Apple reported $1.24 billion dollars in cash in the 3rd fiscal quarter of 2002. Not bad for a company that is "LOSING" market share and is all but dead and buried. Gateway, which I'm sure has tons of market share, will be going out of business before Apple does. And with the way Dell slashes its prices in order to gain market share, I'm sure they won't be far behind. The best thing about these purchases is that new development for these companies software will only be made for Mac. I think that's kinda funny that some more PC Schlep who bought one of these programs is shit outta luck for future releases. Guess you'll have to go out and buy a Mac now pal. Naughtius Maximus
