LOL I guess I better get out of the stoneage......still running version 2166 and need to download the huge epic pack thing. Actually gonna have to check out Schwantz's 2K3 server and see what the new Deemers are like.<br><br>Question tho.......Is there an updated version of the no-CD patch out there that will run with the new patch? 2225 patch is the first Official "No CD" patch ( along with other patch issues ). So, Ya! You can both upgrade ( Very good performance fixes in this one ) and you don't need the CD in the drive anymore <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif" /><br>OH YA! Also there is a mutator included with the patch called " UT Classic " that can revert the game to have the same gameplay "feel" as the original UT. There is another mutator on the same page for "client side" "Bright Skins" that improves the visability of players in dark maps<img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif" /><br>OK, one more thing I just found in the patch is a "arena" configurator. They don't or can't work together. The game won't let you choose both mutators at the same time. UT classic doesn't visually change anything but damage dealt is much more normal. You can actually kill another player with only 5-6 pistol shots. Without it, UT2003 required about 20 pistol shots to kill someone so my take on this mutator is that it is just a 3 X damage amplifier. The arena mutator does let you pick any single weapon but with the redeemer, you only get 1 missile Then you have to die before you can get another. Clems Redeemer mutator is still our best solution in my opinion. The redeemer doesn't steer any better in the UT classic mutator either.<br><br> <p></p><i></i>
