Well gang, the plug is pulled and the old PIII 850 gets a nice rest. Hasn't been off for very long in the past 4 years. It's been many PC's as well.. I think it started as a PII 400 way back when.<br><br>Thanks for the send off tonight. We were playing on SRA and Schwantz and many others were there and then everyone started sliding sideways in a spooky sort of way. Like when actors look past the camera in their death scene and you know they are going into the unknown. The Red Flag O Lagg appeared and then a short message came to each of us. The message was wrong though. It said "Connection Failed". FAILED? Not at all. This connection spawned more laughs and frags and great times than any other before it. This connection did exactly what it was. It connected people. A truth? A lesson? A message? This connection has spawned many others connections to prove all of the above to be correct. I hope not to look past any of you in the near future and I'm pleased I'll still get to look at Schwantz and talk with everyone on a different famous connection he started, this forum.<br> Thanks for everything Boss, Rob, Schwantz, Mother-Ship etc. We'll see you at SRA2 and you will pay dearly for the quick goodbye. As I tried to get back on SRA tonight, I saw you and Blondie for a split second. Wish I could have been there too. Then the numbers came, a 9 followed by three more and it was done. I've felt worse like when losing a dog but this is close. You know what you're doing and there is nothing that says you won't crank her up again in the future even if just to see who notices first. Thanks for the good times Schwantzy. I also thank all of you who have been my best pals over the last few months/years.<br><br>I think that it is safe to say that this thing that we do turned out to be much bigger than any of us ever thought, and the best part is that it's far from over... Just launched unreal this morning and checked my favorites just to see if it was some terrible nightmare. SRA was there, but so was the infamous 9999. I right clicked on it (No One Button Mouse Jokes Please) and was going to remove it from favorites but I just couldn't do it. <br> By the way. For those of you with spouses, have any of you discussed this with them. I told my wife about it and I could see in her eyes that she was thinking I had completely lost it. I told her it was like saying goodbye to your best friend from grade school who was moving away that summer.
