Map vote allows me to set discussion time after a game. I want to change it from 60 to 90 seconds to promote complaining etc because I think it's funny to listen to the newbs. I'd like input on Namelesses map winner and losers thread as well. What do you think?<br><br> No Cuss Mod allows me to block bad words in names. It allows me to boot, it allows me to block chat. I turned all the bad words back on but left the bad name block on. I think I'm going to pull the F word again and everything else will still work. Should I never block chatting with cuss words? <br>I agree with you -- I personally have always liked a little extra time to chat, but perhaps 15 extra secs is enough. Your call -- I know others prefer not to have a lot of chat and get real antsy waiting for the next map to load.<br><br>On the cuss word issue, I think any word can be bad, depending on the way in which it is used/wielded. THe regulars use some swear words, but the context is always funny and the use is always benign (skank is a great example of this). It is only when some raving lunatic starts swearing up and down and attacking people that the language becomes an issue. But that is what the Kick Vote is for. It gives discretionary power to the players.<br><br>The other night, some dipstick came in named "KiddiePornRules". We booted him. He then came back under a different name and started abusing Blondie. I had to tell the wanker to go F himself, and then we booted him again.<br><br>As vice admin of SRA, when some jerkoff came on and started abusing the regulars or using super offensive hate-speech, I would just jump on the remote admin webpage and ban the guy's IP. I agree with Mah. If there is someone being overly abusive there is always the kickvote option. I don't think there are any of us regulars that fall into the category of abusive. If someone comes in and gets out of hand I think most of us get a kick out of bating him/her and eventually kicking them after a thorough tongue lashing/ass whoopin'. It's your server and your call though Herm. By the way. If no one objects, maybe you can get rid of some of the overly large and boring maps.<br> <p>Naughtius Maximus</p><i></i> |

hey all if no one minds i would like hermy yo bring contact 1on1 back that map kicked ass <br><br>and yes mah is right i was abused by someone the other night actually there were 2 mah after you left another one came in and boy let me tell you it was no fun but i just ignored them and they left<br><br><br>mah and i have a code word for the kick voting when one is being abused just type boot and we will all kick him/her off <br><br>so all you regs watch for the code word<br><br> mah and metal man thank you both very much for the other night of defending me<br><br> lates<br> hottie <p></p><i></i> |
