OK, I know many of you don't have high end equipment but many of you do. This was a hot topic here about 2 years ago and now I think many of you can try this since video cards gotten much cheaper. If you decide to attempt the instructions on the link below, be sure to follow these steps first, just in case something goes wrong. For your current installation's safety, do this:<br><br>Rename your UnrealTournament folder to UnrealTournamentOriginal. Now, reinstall UT to the default location. Install the 436 patch to it and bonus packs 1,3 and 4. Then proceed with the instructions on the link below at your own risk. If it fails or if you just don't like it, delete the new installation of UT and rename the UnrealTournamentOriginal back to UnrealTournament. Tada! Now you're right back where you started.<br><br>I have the G-Force4 ti4200 128mb vid card. My D3D FPS is around 90-140 normally. My OpenGL FPS is 59 steady and the picture is awesome. Not perfect, but awesome. Many of you will actually gain FPS using OpenGL. Tell us how well it worked for you if you try it. Thanks and here is the link I mentioned.
