Hey XX!! I was In SRA and saw your name come up on the browser ,but then i tried to say hello and poof it said "XX man has left the game" just a few seconds after<br>ya got there!!! Only a couple of things I can think of:<br><br>1. Where you set to spectate? Some servers will reject spectators if that is how the admin wants it.<br><br>2. Did the connection failed come with a error message like file mismatch? That problem sucks but is easily fixed.<br><br>3. Banned! Maybe you've been banned from SRA. (doubt it).<br><br>Let us know. Hi Guys! I'm freezing my ass off in Toronto..Went for hot indian food tonight and with the wind chill was about -20 walking back the 5 blocks to the hotel... Hey nameless.. Didn't hear of any big accidents, but there were some whiteout conditions here and there all around Toronto today. I'm 25 miles SW of Toronto, was this accident in the Oakville/Burlington area? <br><br>French women? That brings to mind some classic one liners:<br><br>"Did you pick up any French in Quebec? Hey its me again. thx for the replies i have seen file mismatch before. and i dont ever spectate. is there a button for that? (lol) and ive only been banned from one place that i know of a sniper server. please keep the help coming. I don't think Schwantz or Herm use CHSP, or PURE on their servers. Those have been known to boot you if all of your files are not perfect (and in no way am I implying you are cheating). If so, then I would say that would be a prime candidate. Have you downloaded anything new for the game? Has some kids been monkeying with the settings, like changing the connection speed? There has to be some kind of change that has been made to keep you from playing. I would double check all of the settings just to make sure.<br><br>Hope this helps. <p>The Jargonaut<br></p><i></i>

Say you have a file in your c-unrealtournament-system-textures folder called quake.utx. If I put a map on my server that requirs you to download it to play, and if that map includes a texture file called quake.utx, there will be a file mismatch error if my file version is in anyway different than the one on your PC. The way around it is to locate this file in your UT folder under textures and delete it.<br><br>Here's the good news:<br><br>If you do this and try to reconnect, the server will upload the file in question to you and you can play!<br><br>Here's the bad news:<br><br>If that file you downloaded was needed for any other maps you already had and was needed to play on servers that required the original version, now they either won't play in practice sessions or will file mismatch next time you go back to the original server where you downloaded it from the 1st time.<br><br>Here's the answer you need:<br><br>There is no answer. Sorry.<br><br><br>Fixing file mismatches is a great way to get to play what you want to or to not get to play until you reinstall everything again. It's your game. You decide. If you need to, contact me and I'll be happy to walk you through this while ensuring that you won't have to reinstall. Hope this helps a little XX.
