We have seen marked improvement in numbers at SRA lately, ever since Schwantz took off a lot of the downloads, installed default maps, and set up superfast downloads.<br><br>We have been trying to bring back populations to SRA, and many nights we have some big rounds. <br><br>Problem is, when you see 8 people already on CG, the temptation is too great to enter the fray. And once there, there is an inertia that keeps one at CG until one has satisfied one's radiation-lust.<br><br>More and more, people are turning up at SRA, now that the downloads are not prohibitively excessive. <br><br>One idea might be to have the weekend tournaments at SRA. The problem might be the ping though. I know several of you get terrible ping at SRA, and also there is still a minor bug that inflates the ping to the thousands for the first 5 minutes or so.<br><br>SRA forever!<br>Mahatma <p></p><i></i>

Just kidding Trigon! I agree with Mahatma. I too have seen a noticable improvment on the amount of people at SRA1. Loke Mah said, before he had the fast downloads working, he had more downloads that anyone you ever saw. If you were willing to wait out the several hours of downloading then you were on the best Redeemer mod server ever. Really. He has a great selection of maps. After a while (2yr.s) we got sick of only killing each other and that's when I looked into a training grounds of sorts for Redeemer mod lovers. Thus CG1 was born. This became a true passion for me eventually and now I just can't help myself. CG1 is sweet in that everything there is already accounted for on the original CD and Bonus packs. Everyone already had everything they needed to play except one tiny little mod to download and one tiny little mutator. They are New Redeemer Arena and MapVote. Now Schwantz has the fast downloads working and I've seen a lot more people there including myself. His Deck collection rules. I am one of the few who get a bad ping at SRA1. It's about a 1/2 second delay. I've been spoiled playing on my own server and enjoying in the teen pings. Give it time Trigon, you'll see. Have you been to SRA lately? I totally agree with Trigon. Although I get horrible pings there, I will play there more often. Heck, I have only played against the Boss 1 time. It seems that every time that I go into SRA, there is nobody there but the bots. They get boring/frustrating after a while. LOL, one of the bots is called Knaks, and I typed out a "Hi Skank" before realizing that it was a bot. Count me in as one of the folks that will visit SRA more often.
