Actually Naughtius I agree with your post. I ran Apple IIe's 2gs's and early Macs for a number of years and only stopped when the software gap got too wide. The IIe desktop and later the Mac's were a wonder. The PC's do not have the same great 'feel' as a Mac.<br><br>But ya gotta admit..Bill is a great theif ! Sorta the OJ Simpson of computers. Hey Pimp I may be using a commodore 64 but your using an Atari 2600. Good for gaming, but not much else. Hook you are so right. If Bill hadn't completely ripped off Apple back in the day (Half the blame is Apple's) windows and IBM clones may never have taken off. Price and the fact that Bill offered an alternative GUI (albeit a sucky one) to the Mac's is the only reason the world uses Windows and Not the Mac OS. Just think, if Apple had taken Bill Gates' advice (Yes, Bill Gates) and sold the rights to Mac's OS the world would be using Mac clones running Mac's OS. It makes me wanna puke. <br> Once again I suggest you all read a great book called "Apple; The Inside Story of Intrigue, Egomania, and Business Blunders." Now I know reading a book about a computer company sounds pretty boring but this one is not. It is also very non-biased. And if you got the guts pick up another Book called "Macintosh. The Bare Naked Truth." Good read but might not be as interesting to you PC guys. I don't know. The only time I have software on my system that I didn't buy is when I wanna try it out before I buy it. I certainly wouldn't rip off Apple for any reason at all. Most of there software is free or for a minimal charge with the exception of Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro. The way I see it is like this. A good portion of the money I spend on Apple products goes right back into R&D which in the long run turns into great new Apple products. As Matter of fact The main programs on my system (Photoshop,Illustrator,Dreamweaver) were paid for and they're not even Apple products. Of course I didn't pay full price. That stuff I bought at PC People.com with my education discount. <br> Glad to hear your gonna give that book a shot Pimp. Like I said, it's quite an eye opener. Very honest. As far as the Made for TV movie I'm not sure I seen it. If your talking about the Silicon Valley one with Anthony Michael Hall I only saw bits and pieces of it.
