A few weeks ago, Hans was trying to figure out the meaning on my name. I told him that I would post it, so, without further ado...
The Jargonaut has a silly origin. Around five years ago, some friends and myself formed a band. I was the keyboardist. We could not come up with any names for the band. Try as we might, every name we thought of was already taken. I really loved the name Jargon for a band, but it was taken as well. Well, We finally came up with a variation of the name.... I can't believe that I'm telling you all this.... It was Poetic Jargon.....Now I realize that the name SUCKS, but then, it wasn't sooo bad. Anyway's, I thought up a name for our fan club. I thought that the Jargonaut's would be great for our fans to call themselves. It combines Jargon with Astronaut, or whatever 'naut you wish, and sounds like Juggernaut. Well, the band name did not stick, but I still always liked the term Jargonaut. No one else on the net seemed to have it, and I wanted my own individual identity, so I applied it to myself. And a star is born...LOL

So, now that I have divulged that embarrassing bit of info, what about everyone else? Where did you all get your names? Uhh, Kind Bud, you may not want to answer this one
The Jargonaut
