Hey guys. I just had the pleasure of playing a couple games the last couple nights. 2 games in 2 nights to be exact. Not much time to play alot I'm afraid. Anyway it was nice to see a couple of regs. I bumped into Mah the first night and somehow came from behind to thump him soundly. I believe Jarg was there as well so if Mah denies the thumping I do have a witness. Of course knowing Mah he just felt bad for me knowing I am sleep deprived and just let me win.<br> Anyway the first night I was on the Desktop which is the usual spot for me to play. Last night though I figured I'd set up the new linksys and give SRA a shot on the iBook A'la wireless. This time I bumped in Hermskii and he was the one doing the thumping. Oh yeah i almost forgot. I was using a one button mouse. Just thought you PC guys would get a kick out of that. So needles to say I found it very difficult to play on a laptop. I think if I had my logitec hooked up and all the keys set up like my desktop I probably would have fared better and had a much more enjoyable experience. So the reason why I am writing this post is to see if any of you guys have used their laptop to play Unreal and if so did you do it wireless and how was the experience. <p>Naughtius Maximus</p><i></i>

The funny thing is, I had a 10 frag lead in that game, and lost it to both Naut and Mah. LOL. I will tell everyone who REALLY won the match, but first, Naut and Mah, which of you have the deepest pockets. Let's start the bidding at $25. I have a laptop that I play on everyonce in a while to do some testing. It's a PIII 1000mhz with a Radion Mobility video card (i think). I play while it's in a docking station so I still get the full size monitor and keyboard and I get to use a regular mouse so it actully feels like I'm at a regular desktop when I play. Personally, I think it sucks. It is certainly better than nothing but I prefer to play on the PC that the CG servers reside on. I wasn't using wireless but I have done some testing with it to find that upload speeds always suck extra bad download seems to be OK. I don't remember thumping anyone but I do remember having a blast on SRA with Skank and a few others the other night. I love all of the old original maps that Schwantz has there. It felt like it had been forever and I was very excited to actually win one or two. Skank is awesome. Nameless plays a lot better there than he does on the CG's. He spanked me a couple of times on SRA that night too. If I wasn't so tired then I would have played all night. Schwantz has begun the task of switching SRA to the super fast download model. I imagine when he's done CG1 will be pretty lonely. No matter. So long as SRA downloads stuff fast and keeps all of the old maps, I'll play there from then on and hopefully regain my previous skillsets and SPANK all of you BAD! You need a SPANKY?!? Ha , yeah don't all our wives. Hey herm I was playing on a 600 Mhz iBook with my unreaL preferences set low. I'm using a 2.4Ghz Linksys wireless access point router. I actually went on again the other night with the Logitech trackball hooked up to it and actually was able to thump three newbies in the process. I'd like to see how I fare against some regs though now that I have it set up the way I'm comfortable with. That one buttopn mouse is a bitch. LOL. <br> This may be the way I can get into SRA and play more often. At least I am in the same room with the Family instead of down in the dungeon. This wireless thing may not be great for gaming but it is nice for everything else. I at least get to watch the rugrats roll around on the floor while getting some important online things done as well as not getting the guilt trip fromthe Mrs. <p>Naughtius Maximus</p><i></i>
