I tried to play on the Fatz server earlier tonight, and I got an error called cf_mansion version mismatch. This is a new one to me. Never heard of this mismatch before.

Until this problem is fixed, I don't think anyone will be able to play there. Too bad!

************
Ok, I tracked down the problem. The Fatz version of Deck 1601 has special textures. That's why you have to download it again, even though you already have it from SRA. You must go in to your textures folder and remove the file cf_mansion. Store it someplace and d/l the new file from the Fatz server. It's 3.7 meg, so it will take a while. If you run into this problem elsewhere, I guess you can just swap the texture files back again.

Edited by: a nameless entity at: 11/26/02 9:09:15 pm

Ok I got the new mansion.utx and everything works now. But, I can't get the port to be seen by UTWatcher or UT. What am I doing wrong?. Uasually the port is 7777, 7778 or 7779 not 29345 or what ever it was. The only way I can get on is through the Fatz server.

Was Up ?

Hook
