Yesterday Scify clued me in to an Unreal Tournament server that's running a cool mod. Apparently Skank and a few of you others have been there too. It's called BRUTALity[InfinityCity//===----...] 66.151.132.205

The mod gives you a rifle with 999 ammo. It constantly recharges itself, so there's no need to pick up more guns or ammo that's lying about. It shoots energy bolts that explode on contact with walls and opponents. Kinda like instagib, but with a machine gun, and it takes more than one hit to kill. It's kind of fun to spray the area where you think the guy who's shooting at you might be hiding. All maps are low gravity, and the game is played at high speed. All of the maps are custom, and there are a lot of downloads you must complete before you can play. But it's all done at high speed, same as Herm's and Dawn's servers. So it only takes a bit of patience the first time you visit to get all the skins and stuff required. The maps take almost no time at all to d/l .

I had some fun in there tonight, but be warned, there's a few players who seem to live there, and are just as deadly as our own best SRA members. This mod makes a nice change of pace. Thanks for steering me to the server Scify!

Post subject: Now where do you find this mod at?

Finally got around to checking out this Brutality server and was pretty impressed with it. I have always loved the sniper rifle stuff and this mod just makes it that much better. The only real problem I have with that server is not being able to pick the maps you want to play.

Well after about 30 minutes playing on it last night I thought that I might just have to start a server up with this mod. There is only one problem.........WHERE DO YOU FIND THE MOD AT????

I dug through a couple of sites and could not find anything called mega damage. Could it possible be called something else by chance? I would be glad to run a server for awhile with the mod if only somebody could point me in the right direction as to where it might be hiding.

If anybody has a clue to where I can find it please let me know.

Most Grateful Kidcapri

Good luck getting that mod. I was told it was only for their servers, not available for download. Nameless should have offered to trade him the skin changer info for the mod

Bo

Edited by: BoDacious at: 12/4/02 7:48:18 pm

Post subject: Thanks guys

Thanks for the info Scify and Bo. I wrote the earlier post at work so I had no access to UT for the email address and now I'm at home with no access to my e-mail (never bothered with getting more than one e-mail account - don't ask LOL). I hope it is not just for that server alone. Would love to hook that mod up even if it was just for alittle while.

Well if anybody else has any other ideas just let me know.....but for now it looks like the e-mail thing is my only hope.

Thanks guys and gals

Kidcapri
