That said, let me say that your PC speed doesn't really matter that much when it comes to speed on the internet. The main factor now that you have a high speed connection is your operating system. I know that you have XP but for those of you using anything less than Win2000, you are getting downloads speeds around 1000KBPS unless you tweaked the registry. Win2000 and XP each get around 2000KBPS on the same high speed connection. For game play purposes on line I think the next biggest factor is if you have a fair proccessor already. If you do, then the video card is what makes all of the difference. If you have a GF3 non MX or better already then the CPU is the final factor before lots of fast ram. Do all of that and you'll be in the 21st century with a few of us. You'll be in debt too like most of us! Glad to see you made the big move you two.
