I have SRA up and running with File download redirection and I've got most of the maps loaded with Redeemer Arena running. <br>there is an issue with high spiking pings in ut2k3 ... i get it a lot at times (usually during practices on my clan's server). still unsure as to causes, but a lot of people are blaming the netcode for the game. there is a separate issue with lag when people join/leave an online game. what i've heard is that this is normal for 2k3 and most often isn't a result of the game's netcode but a result of the loading and unloading of skin from RAM (if you have tons of ram there's some setting you can change to load all skins into memory at startup that is supposed to eliminate this problem entirely -- but i've heard you need a BUTTLOAD of ram for it to work). I know i can almost always tell several seconds before someone joins a game that there is someone coming in ... it just jerks more and there's shot lag. Of course I play instagib almost exclusively, which is heavily dependent on low pings and no shot lag, so i tend to notice those precious seconds of lag a lot ... i doubt they will matter much for redeemering ;-) it's all just one long *BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM* riiiight? <p></p><i></i>
