I know this is a silly question.

Today I uninstalled all the ut stuff to give it a nice clean out, finding the cd was a pain in the ass.

Well, I know what the bonus packs are for, skins etc.

But the map pack that herm says to to put in the map folder don't seem to do anything for me.

Do they shorten the download time, do they just need the catch file??

u can get the skinchanger to unlock the robot voice
if u need it IM me and i will send it to u the map pack normally give you the maps u dont have so u dont have to d/load them off of the server.

That's right. if you download the maps and extract them into your maps folder, it does 2 things.

1. You'll never have to download a map that you already have from my server again.

2. You can now play those maps in practice sessions by yourself to get to know them so next time you play against the regulars you can spank us down. Before, those maps weren't available to you unless you played them on line at CG.

I don't know why you don't have the robot voice. Good luck.

I'v got the robot voice , ask the one said it need unlocking, whihc i did b4 but forgot about.

Robot Voice:

In the opening scene to the flyby they show in UT when you first start the game, near the end when it shows you vs. the other guy, the other guy is Xan. Xan is the champ. If you can beat Xan playing unreal tournament, then you are given one extra skin and that skins voice pack. The skin is Xan's skin otherwise known as the "Boss Skin". With the boss skin you also get the robot voice. That's the voice that says " I am the alpha and the omega" and "Run human". There are two ways to unlock the skin and voice pack. One is to actually beat the game. Someone else can tell you how to CHEAT and get it. Peace!

the fastest way is to look in the UT.ini file for a line that says something about beating the game, and change the line from saying "false" to "true".
