Urghhhh..... the path is projected to come straight at me.
On the way it'll go after Jarg, Scify, and Slayed & Blonde Hottie. Batten down the hatches guys! :!:

My home insurance is due next Monday. Guess I'd better go over and pay it in person tomorrow.

ROFL  Don't think that I have not considered it
I don't think it will be too bad here. Only 20-25 MPH winds. If it decides to take the western track, then it will be right on top of me. Hopefully it will miss us both, Sci... Unfortunately, Mortis, and Clem look to be in for a bumpy ride.

Hopefully by the time it reaches you in PA, it will be a depression. Nothing to fear. You will probably be on the north-east side of the storm, which is always the strongest. It will be cool, because the clouds will really be moving fast. The rain will be heavy, but the drops will be small. Only worry if you live near a river or creek, BH, otherwise no problem :D

That depends on how strong the storm is when it hits. It looks like it has weakened a lot. The mountains of Va and WVa should stop most of the damaging winds. The storm will still have some punch, but hurricane force winds? One thing is for certain, this is going to be a strange storm. A hurricane in PA is a little odd indeed. I hope it will not be for you like Hugo was for us here in the Mid Atlantic. Just to be on the safe side, I am moving the Koos Galleon away from the beach.

In 1954 hurricane Hazel took a similar track as the one projected for Isabel. It hit a local storm and was reinforced. It dumped over 7" of rain. Homes built on flood plains were washed away. Many people died. Trees at the tops of valleys had furniture and appliances like fridges and stoves hanging from them. It's no longer permitted to build on flood plains here, but there's the possibility of a storm being in the area when Isabel gets here. I'm worried that my basement may get flooded. It's happened twice before, although not too badly. Let it not happen. My insurance company have decided to be pricks about proving that I now own this house. I'm covered until the 22nd, but they're giving me a hard time getting renewal in my name. :doubt:

Well, it's already breezy here, and we are looking for landfall sometime in the morning. I wish everyone well, and hope for the best. May the trees be better to you than they have been to me :D
