Just wondered who else misses the vote on cg and herm its yours to do with as you like was just curious. Ok i just wanted to add that i dont so much miss the vote so much as the time it gave to have a little chat unless one of the more boring or longer maps come up. |

i think that not having the vote is ok cos there isnt enough maps to worry about but if more maps appear then it should come back |

I have to side with Herm on this one. CG is for the beginners. Let them learn ALL of the maps, and not just vote for Crane over and over again. We can always play on HOH, NWRO, MMRA, and BIRA. I do think that Dork City and Crane should be removed from all of the other servers, and placed on CG. The reason. Pure selfishness. I hate those maps. The smaller the map, the better, I would be happy with a map that is about 10 feet by 10 feet square, with 12 people in it.... This must be a cry for help... :? |

hmm.. CG is for people new to this game, so they need to play all the maps. for them to get better, they need to play against some regulars.. to get them more competition, we need mapvote so more regulars will be willing to play there. a mapvote set up with no restriction will allow those new players (and regulars) to vote for the same maps too frequently, so we can do something like once a map is played, it can't be played again for something like 5 to 10 maps later. the drawback to this is that I see regulars going back to CG more often and reducing traffic on the other servers. another option is to not have mapvote on CG, and the regulars will come (like on Fractal/Morbias/Deck16) and go (like on Crane) as they please, allowing more traffic on the other redeemer servers. the new players will be forced to play all maps, though the competition won't be as stiff (less regulars). so I don't know.. which option do you think is better, Hermskii? - clemmentine ( TB|OneEyedKidSUBARU / Maiden_Arashi / clem|IAmKamui! ) |

I think that you should read the sticky at the top of the forum called a proposal for Hermskii. The short of it is that Schwantz, my hero, has asked me to set up CG a certain way and I plan on doing just that. This will include all of the old maps and MapVote. That's really all I can say about it right now. I will make an additional server called HOH which will just have to become the training server I guess. Thanks for the input, concern and pointers!
