This is from Gamespy.com...

Need a lift? So when is Halo coming for PC? According to Pitchford, it's "sometime in September," so we're just scant weeks away from seeing the game on our PCs. A simultaneous North American / European release is planned for the game, and there's also a Mac version in development, which according to Pitchford, is going to be "a little after [the PC release]." We didn't have a chance to see the Mac version on display (it's being created by a different developer), but Pitchford told us the big push for the Mac version is network compatibility, so that PC and Mac owners will be able play on the same Internet servers.

I am really excited about this game. I have it for the X-Box and it ROCKS! It is not as elaborate as UT, with MONSTER weapons, but it has a lot of great moments, plus there are a LOT of multiplayer modes (somewhere over 20), so it has re-playability. May be worth the purchase. It is for me!

HHHHMMMMM. Halo huh. I've been hearing about halo for like what 3 years now. It would have been out quite some time ago if bungie hadn't been gobbled up by the evil empire. Bill can keep his game no matter how good it is. I'm sure it's a fantastic game but I won't pay for an MS product. If you would like to send me a copy when you get it Jarg I would gladly accept it. :D

Not sure if anybody else has seen these but the ones I have watched have been funny. Give it a look and from the looks of things your gonna need Quicktime to watch these.

:?: how the hell did your computer give you a virus? Did it sneeze on you? Or did your sick kid wipe his snot all over your keyboard , and you unfortunately picked your nose while playing UT after forgetting to sanitize all the keys? :?: Or wait...was it the other way around? Your KID sneezed on the computer and IT got sick...

So does virus software come in childproof bottles?

Maybe i should team up with Tylenol to develop some kind of virus cure for all you sad sick little PC folk. Sniffle sniffle!!!

Hey Maximus...love the Danzig avatar! Have you heard of a band called IN FLAMES? They are a Sweedish Death Metal band. They are my new fave...old school metal( I detect a hint of Iron Maiden and a tad of TAD:lol:    )mixed with some good old DEATH metal chords! Really good stuff. Reminds me of the old times.

Post subject:  Left out!

So the MAC folks won't feel left out anymore, I'm creating a virus for them now. Expected completion date is two weeks. I found a simple sub routine for click command of the mouse that can easily be changed to map to = the hot key command of the PC equivelant of a right click. This can be done even though the user only can click once and won't have to hold the hot key which MACs use. The beaty is it can also br rerouted to the help key. I'm determining which would be more annoying at this time. The point is that a single click won't open anything. It will launch help or open a option menu only. Delivery is the next issue. More network protocol investigation is required. Have a good day. I hope the MAC folks here will feel more a part of the family once this is complete. I fear I'll actually have to put up a link that you will have to click on for it to work but like I said, it's the delivery at this point that needs the attention. More later! Feel the love!

 Ok Hermskii settle down and think this through. First of all your gonna need to decide which operating system your going to target. Unlike Microsofts versions of there OS which are all pretty much the same crap Apple's newest OS is Unix based. I think N6NU is a unix guy so you should check with him first. Secondly you might wanna check with the guy thats hacked into your server on a few occasions. I'm sure he knows his stuff and can also help you in this endeavor. Third, don't do this on one of your servers. There are 2 definite problems with doing this. A.) You will more then likely overtax your flimsy OS and crash your server or B.) The virus will back fire on you and crash your system as well. I advise if your going to go through with this idea you make sure your own virus programs are up to date. Finally I think you should stick with trying to perfect your servers and not spread yourself to thin with frivolous attempts at hurting the people who keep the entire PC industry moving forward and not backwards.
