I had been toying with the idea of changing the redeemer mod on my server for awhile to something different so last night I flipped it over to a sniper mod (like there are not enuff of those around LOL). Not sure if anybody remembers or not but I want to say it was nameless I believe that pointed out a server know as Brutality run by a guy named BrutalBri. I was able to get a couple of the many sniper mutators he was running on it and always thought it would be fun to run as a server. This mod is a temp. thing right now unless the masses just flat out don't like it over EVERY redeemer arena is down and a back-up is needed. Give it a shot and see how you like it. If there is enuff positive response I might have to see about some new maps to make it more interesting. All comments welcome bad or good. Thanks, |<idcapri |

Just been on kid i like but can you make the bots a bit thicker there just to good with that mod to get into the game at least till i get used to it, like the low grav too. But calling it a sniper mod ? more like machine gun with scope and exploding rounds mod. Nice fireworks Dark :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :lol: :lol: :lol: |

Thanks for the heads up Dark. Had the bots set for redeemer stuff and never thought about them being set tooo high for sniper/machine gun/exploding bullets mod. I'll tone them down when I get home from work today. For anybody else that has not got on the server just to give you a heads up it will send you a file or 2 but the biggest being only 500k. Have fun and enjoy.........and if you notice anything messing up, got a comment .... ect. ect. ect. just let me know. |<idcapri |

*EDIT* I played it. I like it. It is a good change of pace. Still over the top like redeemers, and requiring a LOT of movement, jumping and running. Torp, you would do well here. |

Thanks for running this mod Kid. I'm pretty sure BrutalBrian shut his server down. I kinda missed this change of pace. You chose the best gun out of all the one's Brian was using for this type of game IMHO. :) |

Great for the most part kid but if ya get 3-4 or more players in it gets laggy don't know if theres anything you can do to fix but thought i would mention it someone last night did say it might be to many bots but i dont know. Dark :twisted: |

Sorry I didn't get to the bots last night. Went out and checked the "Hulk" out at the theater. Thanks for the heads up there guys. Dark I'm not sure why the server seems to lag when multiple are on. I've seen it run smooth with 6 people on and I have also seen it where the pings jump thru the roof with 6 people on. Not sure what causes that yet and if anybody else has a clue please fill me in. Oh wait........I might have left Kazaa on and forgot to turn it off (brainstorm). Have to see when I get to the house after work. But it has acted up like that without Kazaa on so who knows. As for the big "BUT" at the end of the subject line.....I have some new changes coming down the line. Good ole Death was kind enuff to let me use his old PIII 1 ghz chip, mobo and about 384 meg of ram (thanks much D......most appreciated). The server "was" a PIII 650 with only 128 meg of ram so there should be improvement across the board. So the server will more than likely be down most of the night due to a reinstall of windblows and installing drivers. I hopefully will have it back up tonight around 11-12 CST if all goes well. After this the next order of bizenss that I have been putting off for WAY too long is the redirects. I think I might have it somewhat sorted out so it might be up and running along with the server tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to get some new maps on that will be more pleasing for the sniper mod and not the usual stocker blah. Glad everybody has enjoyed it so far. Will keep y'all informed if anything else changes but I should have something going by tonight. |<idcapri |

Hey Kid, where can I get those mutators? I can't seem to find them. The cache cleaner program I use put the *.u files in my sustem directory, but when I try play offline I can't use it. Thanks in advance. |

Hey Iceman.......got the mod from BrutalBri about 2 months before Brutality disappeared of the face of the earth. I had to do some wheeling and dealing to get him to part with the mutators but worth it in my opinion. Give me a buzz on AIM if you get a chance......screen name is kidcapri521. Those 2 files should make it work without any problems but who knows. Well back to changing out parts.......should be back up in a bit. |<idcapri |
