Too bad that I can't seem to stop or identify the person who is using a skin changing attack on CG. My log doesn't identify who connects until they connect or maybe I didn't look close enough. Today, CG bit the dust dust twice. These were the first crashes in a week. The first time I thought it was because the log file got too big. The second time, it was a skin changer attack that is designed to crash servers. Sorry, but there is no way for me to defend against this. I thought the new patch (451) stopped it but my logs don't lie. Hopefully whoever is doing it will get tired of logging in and crahing CG. Again, sorry CG been down but I can't stop this kind of attack (yet?). Later all!

It happened yesterday and the last person to connect was a player named Vampire. I'm not saying it was him because he was connected for just over a minute when the sever crashed. The last log entry was a player named InitX asking if anyone play was "Blak". Yes, "Blak". Then boom skin attach and crash. I personally don't think it was either of these players. I'm pretty sure that a player using the attack can't actually connect since their skin keeps changing so fast that my server can't keep up and ends up crashing. Just a FYI. Later all. Oh, and Scify, I don't know why people do this. I agree that they suck. There is nothing I can do to stop this attach. We're all doomed. Sorry.

I too was playing with InitX. He seemed like a noobie. But... He was asking where to get custom skins.. Perhaps he got the wrong one by accident.

I don't think it was him because I have palyed with him plenty and he seems like a real nice person. The kind that we are proud to have play with us. Again, I don't think it was him. I'm just saying what the last things were that happened before the crash. It hasn't happened since so hopefully the guilty party has gotten tired of doing this. I've played with InitX several times since and had no problems at all. I hope to see him more too. Later all!

Mahatma in Japanese translates to "Camping Jaded Fox" which in the southern most hemisphere of the Ta'Naki Clan Islands (just off of the southwestern coast of Japan), translates to "Hidden Cheating Bastard" in many of their dialects! Learn something new every day! Just kidding Mah! I just had to jump on that chance. It's been a while since I got to tease you last.

No problem Herm. But I must inform you that Hermskii in Polish translates as "Packed Fudge."

LOL Mah!

Is it just my settings or is this true of everyone? If you hit the button to reply to this, a screen will pop up offering a subject line and then a field to type in your reply. I'm pretty sure that the subject line doesn't carry over over to the next post so why is it there?
