Looks like my playing PC is getting a new motherboard. Back when I changed the fan I noticed I have three capacitors that have popped and are oozing green powdery stuff out of the top. This is the same machine that HOH resides on currently. I've been having boot up problems and BIOS setting saving problems. I was looking around and came across a post that sounded like the same probs I was having so I dug deeper. Sure enough, I think I found why I've been having PC problems with my gaming machine. My 3 bad caps look far worse than any in the pictures from the above link. I need to get me a digital camera. I was wrong about the color too. The leakage is a rusty orange looking powder. The little indent of a pressed silver cross isn't even visible on 2 of my bad ones. Two of mine have totally busted open at the top! This machine I 'm on right now! Later!
