Look up at the pinned area of the board. Clems newest Redeemer Arena mod is up there. The reason that I post this is because sometimes I tend to overlook the pinned area. It is also posted on the new message board.

*EDIT*
I have just play tested the mod in single player mode. One word..... INCREDIBLE!

Everything works GREAT! The damage has been cut down perfectly! I actually finished a game of Morbias in less than three minutes with more frags than deaths! Guiding is now VERY manageable, and, for the first time in this game, I had FUN!!!

Clem, You have done it. AWESOME JOB! This is the closest thing to UT Classic RA that there is, and I am giving it a thumbs up.... WAY up. Folks, Download it.
THANK YOU CLEM!

Schwantz, can you put this on your 2k3 server?

Ok,...Could'nt wait!!! ...had to try it out ....OMG!!!!now thats Awesome!!! !!
good job Clem!!!!!
theres one more thing that for me has got to be changed ,to be playable which has nothing to do with the missle or guiding......It has to do with that terrible " World shaking Effect"!!! its terrible!!! you cant run up ramps or in a straight line without falling off or running into the wall!!!!
Is'nt this one of the Items that was on that weapons stuff that can be changed Clemm???? ...if this was done ..It would be perfecto!!!!it plays great ....just the shaking is overkill, And I belive that it may be slowing down the game play too much ...either the frame rates are taking a hit or somethin, cause I had to crank up the game speed to get it going again!!!..and it still seemed like mud when all those explosions were going off!!...Also , we need QUAD JUMP!!! on SRA 2k3!!!!
PLEASE BOSS!!!!!!!!!!! and translocators too would be nice also!!! ....thanks ,Tri

edit: it plays GREAT!!! no doubt as close as you're gonna get to UT classic
Redeemer Arena!! ...Lets try to really get somethin going on Sat. Night.....It'll be a blast!!....

That was pretty incredible. It seems this release canidate is by far the best. I feel much more comfortable with the steering which unfortunately brings me to a change request. While the view is in missile steering mode, it looks like it has a tunnel vision template laid over it. I think that it is a big mistake on the part of Epic to have included this effect with the Redeemer. It's great with the scope on the electric gun or whatever that thing is that replaced the sniper rifle but it is wrong for redeemer guiding. Can it be removed? There's my $0.02

Thanks

Clem, if you stop now that will be fine. We all appreciate that you took this upon yourself and I can't imagine how much time you must have burnt getting us this far. If this isn't in your schedule to continue with this effort let us know. We'll begin the final curtain applause now. If it is in you to continue with what I think are two final tweak request then let me be the first to go get you another Mountain Dew. Thank you from the bottom of Skank.....uh....I mean from the bottom of our hearts for this effort you OWNED!

I'm happy to hear that some of us are having fun with the mutator. it gives me the more reason to want to make the mutator even better. it is my goal that each version is better than the previous one. change requests are always welcomed, because without them, there'd be no improvement.

I will look into the "tunnel vision" problem and see if I can do something about it.

"world shaking effect"
if you haven't noticed already, this shaking effect has been somewhat lessened in the current version. with no bots in the game, try standing with your back up against the wall at one end of the long middle hall on DM-TrainingDay and shoot (not guide) one straight down to the other end of the hall. do that with the regular redeemer and then with the redeemer mutator I made. the shaking effect from the explosion should be quite different. I think I can further reduce that effect, but I'm not sure if I want to take it out completely.

to me, the time I've spent working on this mutator is time well spent. I enjoy doing it and on top of that, I also make other people happy, which makes me happy. unfortunately, I don't like carbonated drinks that much, so keep the Dew to yourself and please hand me a glass of milk! :D
