Hi Y'all
Yes I enjoyed Hook's and CG's. It's good to be back! I have my oldest son the computer scientist (yes, he has a degree) to thank. I was using a dumb phone as a usb modem. When I tried unreal it would connect, start to play then disconnect and need rebooted (the phone). It worked ok for surfing and downloading. I never researched it, just thought I was screwed. Seems to be related to the phone not maintaining a 3g connection at all times. When my son upgraded his phone he gave me his old motorola droid. He rooted it with latest Liquid Smooth ROM and installed Open Garden wifi hot spot. It works great. I was able to transfer my old unlimited data plan from Altel (now Verizon) at 30 bucks a month and save 5 bucks a month on voice service with a smart phone. Sweet!!!

I love it, and I would love to convert my forum to it also, but my host doesn't allow it - yet.

Yes Scify, we should all Utilize this great site much more than we do. (I try to myself :faroah: )

Maybe things will really start hopping here at good old RI when we open her registration up to new members!?!?
But again, we gotta make sure that any new members are desirable ones! :salute:
I wouldn't want this place to get spoiled.

I should be home all this weekend.
YAY I can PLAY! :cheers: (see you on the UT servers)

UT Players and even forum members seem to be a bit AWOL or MIA for the past few weeks at least. :geek:

Only thing I can think of that must be happening, is that New Diablo III that came out is pulling players from our beloved UT.
A lot of UT players have been diverted to that game - for a while anyway.

Of course most UT forums and UT servers are slow now - this seems to happen once or twice a year - and I forget.

They will be back of course! :geek: :salute:
