Yep I also have UT99 installed on an old comp and also on a brand new one !
Both work excellent, right out of the box!

Install it. CG is still just like the old days. HOOK's has evolved plenty. There are others too but only CG has pretty much remained unchanged forever. We can make special arrangements to play if needed. I am just glad this place stayed up and the ancients know they can still drop in whenever. I only made my own forum in the event this one ever went down. I wanted the old folks from the good old days to be able to drop in no matter what. Thanks for keeping this going N6NU! |

I did install it and it WORKED! Running Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit. Cool. Happy Camper was there and even DonDon stopped by - what a treat! We did play crane with DonDon and I kept hunting for his teleporter beacon. Poof :-) I might be back more often now. N6NU |

I haven't seen his server in several years now. He has all sorts of stuff done to it but I don't know what. You should email him and ask. |

I'll have to DITTO what Hermskii said, as we all haven't played meat's in a long time! (we don't and we won't) EDIT: I see you are not the only one that has trouble playing meat's!!! (I see others having problems there also like yours) I have also seen quite a few players pick up some bad files, and I believe they are from his server. (another good reason not to play there) Reason being is these players all had a common thread between them - they were all players that used to play on meat's server a lot, then found ours - and have trouble playing other servers now, at least until we told them how to fix their UT installation. (bad textures - MEAT use to have the same problem, so I assume he has those bad textures on his server also) Did you log into {CG} OK? How about {CMM}? If you can play on these 2 servers, than your UT installation is the Correct one, and you are good to go! PS: I think I saw you on {CG} the other day - I was busy at the time so couldn't stop in myself.

WoW !!! nice to see some ol timers still creeping around here. Damn I miss the ol days of trashing on the FAH clowns till the wee hours and seeing the sun rising  ......I will sure tell you I sure get alot more sleep these days . Cheers to all you guys and take care!
