I am so pissed off with the CBC's allowing the cable network TSN to scoop the rights to broadcast coverage of the Grey Cup starting in 2008 and for the next few years. And I don't have cable TV.
I'm not a big sports fan, but I do like to watch the CFL championship game, because it is almost always a really close, hard fought game that could go either way.
Naturally I couldn't watch it this year. I've already forgotten who won. Stupid CBC. :angry7:

So I have decided to watch the Super Bowl. I think it will be available on broadcast TV. I sure hope so, anyhow.
I like siding with the underdog, and since this is the Cardinal's first Super Bowl appearance, I will be rooting for them.

Maybe this topic will drag Blonde Hottie out of hiding and force her to make an appearance? Thank god that the Cardinals won, or otherwise it would have been an all Pennsylvania contest. We couldn't have that now, could we?
:cheese: :la:

Actually as I'm about to tell you via IM, I switched allegiances because the Cardinals played so messily in the first half. But the Steelers messed up too, and nearly let the Cardinals steal the game. I was originally thinking that the Cardinals showed potential, but that the Steelers were overall superior. But I was wrong. They were closer in quality than the first half would suggest. But still, even if that last call fumble or incomplete, was wrong, the team that made fewer mistakes deserved to win, and they did. :colors:

Yes, I agree. I knew the game would be decided on turnovers as the Super Bowls ususally are. I think had this game had one more quarter of time in it the Cardinals surely would have won. They just got off to a bad start but I felt pound for pound they were superior. Doesn't matter though. You get one shot each year and you have all year to learn how not to blow it. The Cardinals blew it and the Steelers were very lucky for that I think. Congrats Hottie.
