Not sure what you mean about the song of the ood.
I think he has 3 or 4 lives left but its also being said when that time comes if the series is still going strong ways around that will happen not sure what tho.
The way they brought his daughter into it was imaginative and not sure she will be seen again but its likely best to watch how it happens.
there's supposed to be another few seasons at least 2 but there will also be a years break next season so wont be back for a while..
there's no plans yet that's been mentioned on any replacement lots of speculation but nothing from the production team..
