Most of you guys are pretty sharp about computer hardware, but it doesn't hurt to point this news article out to you, and mention once again how important it is to change the pass word on your router.

As you know, a mix of letters, symbols, and numbers is best. :hiding:

I was getting paranoid there for a sec reading this but then it hit me that I'm actually safe because who would steal an identity that would get you stoned to death by others.

Actually it was a good article but at too high of a level for most to actually read. It made great points but over 99% will ignore as I will except I did verify my current DNS settings and did actually update them. My password is alright already so I'm good to go basically.

Scify, yes. Routers have passwords. They are called WEP. You can input the password in your routers firmware. I will write more when I am not about to fall out of my chair from lack of sleep :drunken:

Actually, routers have passwords whether you use WEP or not. Scify, don't you have the owners manual to your router? It will have the default password listed in it. It is important that you change that default password to maintain your network's security.
