There seems to be a problem with Hermskii's "forums". Since last night I have not been able to get in. Today I could get to the forum list only via http://www.hermskii.com/index.html
But once there I could not read any of the threads, or even open the different forums sometimes. All I would get was:

Quote:
Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/hermskii/public_html/Forum/db/mysql4.php on line 48

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/hermskii/public_html/Forum/db/mysql4.php on line 330

Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/hermskii/public_html/Forum/db/mysql4.php on line 331
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

Could there be a problem with the web address? Isn't Hermskii's main page just supposed to be "www.hermskii.com"?

NOT "www.hermskii.com/index.html"?

This was edited a little by Hermskii to make Nameless sound mean. LOL

Hey. Thanks for the heads up. I was just there and it worked fine but it always seems to work fine for me. It is due for a software upgrade to make it more secure and stuff but I'll get to it later. I'm tired of always updating to the latest PHP. Let me know if it is still happening. Thanks! And yes, all you should have to do is click this link ( www.hermskii.com )to get to the main home page and select the forum link to get to the forums in which this one and mine are both offered.

Down again, eh! :blackeye:

I'm going to post about a bad map at MEAT'S server here at RI. Hopefully he'll see it here soon. I know Meat prefers your place, but it's closed. :cheese:

I'm in like Flynn. For the record, it doesn't matter whether my server is up or down or whether I have power here or not or whether my house burns down or not. My forum is purely web based and hosted from L.A. California. I have seen it down once due to a power outage there. I have heard of times that it was down. Are they doing these rolling power outs there now from the heat wave? Maybe that is why?
