Missing bots?

Was playing a semi-small map with 7 bots. The map was of a city with 8 or 9 buildings....DM-JumpCity.
Couldn't hide in the buildings but if you knew how you could scale them.
Mostly a run and gun or spray from the top of the buildings.
Funny thing is toward the end of the game I noticed less and less bots.
With 2 min left in the game I could only find 1 bot.
I looked everywhere....so where did they go?

Sounds to me like it was a Last Man Standing match. Don't know though.

Okay, got another one for you. Although it's probably self-explanatory but I've never seen it before.
I received 2 error/warning messages:

"Ping is to high. You will be kicked if it doesn't improve".

"You have a lot of packet loss. Please decrease your netspeed.
Type netspeed ### on your console.
You will be kicked otherwise".

And of course I was kicked.

That would be The mod called Lag Monitor. I used to run it but Iron Chef got mad with a few others so I bowed down to them and removed it.

Since people with slower or bad connections effect everyone else's game some admins use this tool to insure the quality of the game for players with better connections by kicking the players who don't meet the specifications set by the admin. It is a wonderful Server Nazi tool but it is not to be used against regulars ever. Trust me. I'm still smoking from the flaming I got.

The funny thing was I was the only one in the map, along with 6 bots....lol

Yeah well.....you know...

I can pretty safely say that my server only lags during two very different and rare situations:

1. A near full house on both at the same time w/ at least 1 56k player will laggg out everyone.

2. If I upload a map, that is a for sure 800 ping for anyone playing.

I did upload a new MH map last night right around 10:00 PM Central Standard Time.

I would be interested in knowing if people know of other times. Know also that at this point I feel there is virtually nothing else I can do to the servers to make performance better than it is. I'm all out of ideas and mojo.

The missing bots are probably at one of those secret CIA camps. Word is they new where UBL was. I always had my suspicions.
