How bout a poll to determine if anyone wants to see changes to the site. I'm just curious to see how many people still care.

I have to agree with Jarg. People are stopping in all the time..just not posting.
And we're seeing new faces everyday so there is some interest in the Redeemer....just not that much dialogue in the forum.
Maybe a up to date face lift would stir some interest?

No need for a total overhaul but a few adds and subtractions maybe in order.
Just need to update a few pics and Server Addresses.

Keep it. I pretty much like it the way it is but change can be good. Somehow, each time a new person joins we need to know better than we do so we can really poor it on like we used to in order to welcome them. Just little things and changes like that but overall, I really like it the way it is.

Granted people do have real lives and other interests but it's kind of sad to throw a post and only get 5 or 6 responses.
Especially when the membership seems to be a strong one.

I hear ya Scify but how do we convert/persuade
all these newbies I see playing at CG and all the other
redeemer servers to join in on our forum games?
And how do we reconnect to those that have moved on?
Or maybe it's the way of the beast or the cycle of gaming.....
and only the dedicated will remain.

Okay folks I have to say 10 total votes (5 for changing the site) doesn't fill me with a sense that there are a lot of people interested anymore but as I find time I'll re-hash it anyway.

I hear you when you talk about the actual noobs in game that are not in this forum. But do we need to have posts from guys who even don't say Hi or Bye ? (and other GG)
This forum is a gold mine for those who still come to it. There are many subjects that have found solutions in here and that's what's nice on RI.
It's the only place where you see some of us regulary passing by even if we have other clans or "families".
Even if we change our games or the frequency we play them, we still come and read what's said here (and we don't write everytime we read !!! One more example I voted in 4th or 5th position and this is my first post in this topic, in 12th place)
I voted to say that it was ok like it is because a change means work for someone and doesn't change the goal of the forum. But if it has a bit of make-up it will be nice anyway !

ahh....a little makeup is nice and needed from time to time just look around.
Just like real life we want to be attractive and at the same time attract others don't we?
And an out of date or should I say not up to date forum may not be attractive.
But at the same time a lot of us got use to it and we just don't see it or we just don't care anymore.
Especially those of you that have been around for a while.

And as for the inconsiderate newbies that visit our servers LePoLoo some can be converted.
Especially those that are new or nervous to the game. They just
need to feel accepted and break out of that shell....like we all did in the beginning.
And I think we do a great job of welcoming new people.
Most of us are friendly...lol
I say the more the merrier, even if it's a unfriendly "noob". It's better than nothing don't you think?

And you have to give it up and be thankful we have guys like {FAH}Q and Hermskii around.
Playing redeemer and this forum has kept me here and it's all because of them.
And I know it's a lot of work, way beyond my realm of thinking.
Just look at my server, it took me hours to get it up and running...not to mention the hours of help from Hermskii.
Rome wasn't build in a day (from what they tell me) maybe we all can pitch in and do our part in this face lift?
Just a thought....

OK kiddies. Here's a little taste of the change. The idea is to trim this bad boy down. Less pages while keeping most of the content. This is just the main page and is not set in stone yet. There is a lot of pruning that has to be done but it will get there eventually. I don't have oodles of time but I do enjoy doing it so I will get it together as time permits.

If you guys want to see changes to the forum you'd have to ask the boss man. I personally think it's cool only because the color scheme will work with the new site look and ya never can go wrong with black.
