Herm has given this server a perfect 10 (not counting downloads) and I give it 3 thumbs up. There is some thing hilarious about getting into the strangelove planes and trying to outrun redeemers while dodging sniper shots.
There are now bots on the server as well, so you will have something to shoot at.
there is also no falling damage, so you can bail out of the planes and not get killed.
MAYHEM at it's best!

Yep! I played it and I really really liked it. It has a little bit for everyone but it is mostly a sniper server or that is how I killed the most while I was there. The server is solid, the pings are good, the redirects work, the maps are a plenty, the mods all fit in nicely. This server is fun so I gave it a perfect 10 with the one draw back being all of the downloads. Droidecka can be hard to see sometimes because it moves so slowly.

Peeps, find the time and check out this server. The fun factor and the funny factor are both high! Try it out and tell us what you think.

Yes, there are some small probs to fix and I think they should have separate names (from original one) if they modify some maps and mods.
But it's just some more work to do...

Yeah, I had a problem with the file mismatches and the lockups too. The server is new, so I'll bet that in time they will be fixed.

Finally was able to sit down and check out this redeemer/strangelove/sniper server y'all have been talkin about and talk about a trip! Never really thought redeemer and sniper would go well on the same server but boy was I wrong and I'm glad I was.

Downloads took about 5 or so minutes to get all the files but they did come down the pipe pretty quick. Ping was alittle high at the server but didn't seem to give me much of a problem (150-200 range). Played thru about 3 different HUGE maps and didn't run into the file mismatch stuff I've seen a few of ya post about but I do run a very minimum install for my game machine (patch 436 and a few bonus packs).

The only hangup (very small one) I had was the bots seem to be very very very stupid. Played on some Airport map and spent a good 5 minutes just hunting down my first kill. Finished the map out with maybe 8 total frags due to not hardly seeing anything moving around. Go to the next map which was called DM-(a)Sneaky Neighborhood I do believe and noticed when I finally found a bot to kill that they love just standing still and not moving around much. Not sure if it's a setting for the level of the bots or if it might be something along the lines of bad pathing on the maps.

Another very small thing that would make this place wonderful might be turning on the low grav stuff to help in getting around some of the biggest maps I've ever seen in UT hands down. Just a thought tho.

But in general this is a killer server. I absolutely hate big maps with redeemer but having the sniper gun and the rocketX makes it all worth the while.

I played today with Nameless and Jimm. The admins are working the bugs out and it is better than ever.
I believe that this will take the place of redeemer servers because it is just so outrageous.
Considering it is in Germany, the ping is stable. I never experienced a spike.
I know I hype this server, but I can honestly say that I have laughed outloud on several occasions while playing there.

Yeah. It is especially fun when playing people you know. What changes are they making?
