Been a pretty decent winter so far temp-wise but Old Man Winter decided to even it up with a blizzard here in Wisconsin a couple of days ago and this morning I woke to a record -16 degrees fahrenheit. At the time of this posting, it has warmed to -5 which is 1 degree warmer than the old record for this date.
I'm going back to bed.

Just now getting here, but the temps are NOWHERE near as cold.
Right now, about 35 degrees. Yesterday it was in the upper 60s.
We have had snow here, but the ground is too warm to support any accumulation.

Made it all the way up to 4 degrees today!
Weather like this can only mean one thing......time for home-made chili. Simmering in the crock pot as I type.

Bring on the Spring!

We've hardly had any snow here this winter. What we did get melted. We got about an inch the other day, but it's mostly gone too. There's been blizzard like conditions all around the compass from here all winter, but so far we've had nothing much. -We usually get far less than elsewhere in Ontario, which is one reason why I like living here. :toothy5:
No need to use the snow blower so far this year. But it will be a first if we make it to spring without needing it even once. Today it has been very cold, -11C which is about 12F.

Hehehehe, freeze your bejesuz off! Factoid for the day, did you know that -40 C = -40 F? Thats with the wind chill, and ya, bring a sweater if you want to come and visit :P . Its been a mild for us all winter here, just a couple of days of real cold weather. As you mentioned Nameless, no snow on the ground here in Edmonton, AB also, real weird for the great white north! Thank you, global warming and buy more GM gas guzzling SUV's.........hehehe.

Where I live I was child and teenage .In high school we so much snow and ice we miss 30 day. Ice knock out power line . Snow 14 inches and then snow drifts on top that. We went o school if we had at least two inches snow.We average least 20 inches of snow now I think we had this year 6 inches. Now if there is inches schools close.Last 20 year snow fall get less each year. :drunken: :drunken: :drunken:
