It is out, and mostly the same as 05 with a few new eye candy treats.

WARNING:
I run a pretty decent rig.
P-4 3.0 gig
1 gig RAM
6800 GT card

It brought this system to it's knees.

If you do not have at least a 2.5 gig processor, then you will have to wait FOREVER for the CPU test to complete. Took about 10 minutes at about 1 frame every 5 SECONDS on this one.

Oh... I scored a measly 2272.
Time for a new rig!

Good to hear you are getting a new system! Please send your 6800GT video card to: Hermskii in Houston, TX. It will compliment a Voodoo 3500 AGP card I have. Thanks!

Yes Mortis, That is right. Welcome to the PC industry. A note that should make you feel beeter is that each new 3DMark that comes out always brings even the very best of new PCs that year to their knees.

The best way to benchmark test your computer is not at all. That way you won't get all upset about how 'slow' it is already. :tongue3:

I've got a 2.5 Gig P4,
1 Gig RAM
2x80 Gig hdd
ATI 9800 Pro

Here's my test: It runs Doom 3 just fine. I use the second highest resolution setting. That way I can surf, and play UT & UT2k4 online all I want, then play Doom 3 with no problems at all. If I am willing to play Doom first, before everything else, then my system can handle the highest setting no problem. So far so good! Ok Epic, bring on UT2k7, and let's see what's what! :toothy9: :toothy10:

Heh! It Does have a lifetime warantee on it. Realistically, I will wait for a little while before upgrading again, as Nameless is right. This rig runs EVERYTHING I use right now perfectly. I am still holding out for a SLi AMD 64 X2 with all the bells and whistles.
Gotta pay off the MASSIVE debt that I have first...

May have to wait for the AMD 256 X32 with Apple OS XVI with 2 terabytes of DDR14000 RAM.

Yes, All of you whiners need to shut up. I can't even run the 2005 version. It won't install because my vid card isn't good enough. Ido have to say I'm looking at a dual core XP3800 for my next system! Still, I need a new vid card too. Later!
