I reinstalled the game and went in for a game. I still love it. There... I said it..

:bounce:

Now for an issue. I can not seem to get the mapvote to work. When the game ends, my ENTIRE screen is taken up with the map vote, and I really can not see anything else.

Don't like it.
Just my opinion.
I will play as often as I can. Need to install the textures so I can use Open GL. Also, figure out how I messed up my controls with the mapvote. Other than that, I am golden.

Be more specific. The WHOLE screen is MapVote? Can you vote? Yes the new MapVote is huge but what resolution are you on? After you vote you can alwats click close or the X in the corner to make it go away.

I am running 1280x1024. the whole screen is the Mapvote. I like the fact that you can see many more maps to choose from, but I wonder if you can take out the CTF, Dom, and other irrelevant mapvote areas? Really, all that is needed is the Deathmatch area.
I did have a blast playing though. Saw several of the old gang. Now, I will have to sharpen my skills again to compete. If ya hear a beep beep of the translocator.... Better run :rr:

Also... I seem to have lost my skin changer program. can't be the Jarg without the black and green.... I feel naked! Does anyone have this saved so that I can use it again?

I wish I could make it smaller but I can't. It is part of the program and now that I'm using it, I've noticed the server has stopped restarting nearly as much which is good. Thus, I'm staying with the new version. When they update it to allow me to reduce it's 4 option columns I will. I play at 1024X768 right now and it eats most of my screen too but that is the cost I guess of using this version.

So, I'm sorry but it will have to stay as is for now. Great to have you playing again too. For those of you who were on, I had to take CG and MHM down around 10:15 Central standard time for some updates and stuff. All done and it is back up. Later!

THAT is my whole issue with the mapvote. When you get to that screen, you can not see what others have typed.
Also, it seems that I can not bind taunts and such to my normal buttons. I feel sure that this is the reason why.
If the server were running different game types, then I would have no problem with it. As such, it is just an annoyance. BUT, I may be the only one with an issue. If so then Pfft to me. Either way, it is great to be back to noob lvl again :)
