Well now that Apple has gone Intel. It looks like they STILL missed the bus.... http://tinyurl.com/asc57 Funny that Real Networks would blame Microsoft for falling sales. When a GOOD CODEX would have done much more for them. Guess it's easier to sue than come up with a good product. |

Apple's driving the bus. Apparently Microsoft thought RealNetowrks had a strong enough case. Unless they just normally go around throwing hundreds of millions of dollars at anyone willing to sue them.Gates is a very wealthy man but I don't think he views 761 million as chump change. Don't forget to get your patch.

If you presume that he has worked 14 hours a day on every business day of the year since then, that means he's been making money at a staggering million dollars per hour, around $300 per second. Which means that if, on his way into the office, should he see or drop a $1000 bill on the ground, it's just not worth his time to bend over and pick it up. *Cough* Chump Change....

Ah my buddy Jarg. The fact that you always do your homework makes me smile. I'm sure Bill lights his cigars with 100 dollar bills but I'm pretty sure shellng out 761 mil would bother any Billionaire. He'll live but it still sucks. Now go out and buy your first mac.

Acctually RealNetworks only got $460. IBM got $775 for a total of 1.235 Billion. And the stock still goes up. I would guess the payoff is better than another federal probe LOL. |
