Post subject: | "Stacking" Weapons?? |
There is someone I see playing MH on the servers from time to time who claims that there is a "glitch" in the game where you can "stack" your weapons, and fire more than one at once. I saw her mowing down super, super, tough monsters far too quickly and with near impunity last night, although it appeared that she was only holding one weapon. So my question is: Has anyone heard of this so called "glitch" where you can "stack" -use more than one weapon at a time? Or is this person merely cheating? And if so, which is the most likely cheat she would be using to either "stack" her weapons, or just increase the power of the one she is using? :? :?: |

The only gun i know you can 'stack' is the enforcer as for any other gun would say it has to be a cheat to stack them wouldnt she say how she was doing it? dark    |

Actually, she's been a pain in the ass since the first I've seen her around. |

You can run around fireing two guns at once. It's not just a MonsterHunt bug, it's in all gametypes. Doesn't work with all guns thou... I've seen it done by other players many times on Jackies... You do not need to install cheats or anything... ...I better not tell how to do it here, if you don't want even more people running around doing it :? |

Damn, I'm curious of that. If you don't mind, would you email me the way this can be done (only for my information : I've always been a fair player !!) |

I remember reading about this once upon a time. I know there are mods out there that allow it with most weapons. I was unaware of anything that was a cheat but anything that runs in UT out of the norm should be considered a cheat. The way to do it is a setting in the player.ini if I recall. MonsterHunt isn't scientically accurate enough as far as scoring goes to truly determine a winner IMHO so I don't think I care that someone might be using this exploit. If someone finds out how to do it let me know. I'll check it out and if needed, I' block it somehow. Later! Hey NR2000, if you are subscribed to this thread you'll get this. Please don't forget to send me the fianl version of your new map. Like I said at the other forum, even as it is now, that MH map is a perfect 10. I can't wait to see it when you revise it. Later! |

I'll send an email to Nameless explaining how to do it, because he is the one I know the best here and trust 100%. Then he can decide what to do with it... |

Ok, thanks for the information! :) If it's not a cheat, then I don't mind either. In fact, if that certain someone needs to be a heroine, then let her be one. Lepoloo I will certainly pass the instructions on to you, just as soon as I check my email. ;) The tough part is going to be not using this trick myself. Man oh man, do I ever have issues with those invisible snipers in MH-Ruins Bridge! |

If possible, I would like a copy of how to do it as well. I am curious if there might be a way to stop it with a mod. |
