I just got an auto update notification from Micro$oft. There are no less than 10 security updates available for Windoze XP. One of them is a one time little program that checks for some of the nasty worms that are out there. This handy little tool will be offered once a month from now on apparently. By the way, Micro$oft recommends that you get an anti-virus software program for your computer. ( Grisoft's AVG anyone? ;) )

Those of you who prefer a fruitier PC experience may insert your derisive comments below:

That is strange. I would swear that I had actually gotten most of these already. I checked the site just before I read this. My Auto Update didn't tell me they were ready to be downloaded. I thought maybe I had somehow restored my PC to a few months back at first. The server had 10 more listed to get as well. Got em all but still it is strange.

I too got the 10 updates. I don't use the auto update but do check when I first fire up and sometimes again before signing off. Wonder if the number of updates differ between Home & Pro Editions?

Ciao, Skank

10? I must have missed one, because I only got 9 from my auto update notification.
