:twisted: For those of you who can't wait until May of 2005, here is a ton of info on the film. This comes after the viewing of the first cut of the film. (MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!)

He will NOT make any more Star Wars movies after this one. However....there is talk of a Star Wars television show. Writer/Director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy) is supposed to be involved.

i did read that he may redo the original 3 again (that might be what sci is talking about ) to bring them more inline with the 3 new story lines make coments in them that are about the 'old' days etc and change all the voices of the guards to jango's cloned voice.

Why wouldn't he make the last three in the epic? Isn't the Star Wars saga and franchises an effective licence to print money?

According to Lucas, at first, he only intended to make the first three. When Star Wars first came out, it wasn't originally called Episode IV (not until 'Empire' came out). There was talk long ago about making 9 movies (collectively called 'The Journal of the Whills'). This idea was then abandoned. Almost every interview with Lucas states that he is ending the saga with this one. There has been some speculation about continuing the saga with other directors (such as Kevin Smith), but Lucas frequently shoots this down. But who knows for sure...maybe, when the time, money and demand is right.....

Looks like this is gonna be a blockbuster. VERY dark and VERY moody. I already know everything that happens, and intend on having a copy of the script by the end of the year. Small amount of love story, heavy amount of action.
