Well I've been playing this server for a while now but all of a sudden for the last week there is a player named edub that has found some way to make players blow up on spawn.
Just another reason to run cheat protection.
To bad, I was haveing fun on that server :cry:

I will take a look at it Mickey...Was there a particular map? I know that on CTF-ArticFighterJets and CTF-FloridaSharkAttack(?) there is a sniper rifle that fires explosive bullets, so if your opponent is camping over your base he can frag you on spawn, usually 1 shot 1 kill. If it is a cheat, I WILL turn on UTPure or whatever is available that will stop the cheats.

I know about the rifle, but this is what was going on.
2 or 3 of us would spawn in at our base ( and promptly blow up ) and in the next breath he would score. Now this did indeed happen in Artic , but you can't even see the enemy base from your own on that map.
Him and 2 other buddies have been on the server between 10:30 am ( cst ) and 1:00 or 2:00pm

It's not that big of a thing really, but it does chase people off the server.

I played part of a map against edub when he came in. I did not notice anything amiss, but I will watch for that guy and join in when I see him on the server next time. I'll report any funny business I see straight away.

I played a few maps against edub on Saturday, along with DARK and nameless. This guy is camping and sniping with the explosive sniper rifle. Oddly enough, He doesn't seem to care much for it when you do the same to him, I was called names and told to "fight like a man" when I dished it to him the same way. It was very funny!
Here's what you do:
1. go to center tower and grab the sniper rifle from there.
2. use your transolcator to get on top of one of the higher towers, preferably the one closest to the enemy base.
3. shoot the ground in front of or behind you enemy after he spawns.

I'll check it out Dead and see if I can duplicate what I was experiencing. If it has good range it could be very possible.

Did you taunt him to egg him on?! Please recommend the redeemer servers to this guy as well. If he likes to camp, he'll enjoy it. He'll just have to learn to adjust his emotions for the loop of poop. :lol:

OK, it seems the sniper rifle was indeed what I was experiencing. I was able to snipe the enemy flag from very close to my own. It is a handy little rifle :lol:

yea mickey if u jump on top of the blue base tower then jump up and down on there u can snipe quite close to the red base (Shhhh dont tell anybody else but i sometimes do that ) then from there just a fall to ur flag from the two towers (nothing to do with the film) u can snipe just about every part of the map.
