lady at work can't send out e mail but She can get email.She got that zone alarm firewall that she paid for. i know I have try free one.It never let me play UT. She going called Cable company. What can she do to fix. I got feeling this cable company will mess her up again.I glab it wasn't the one I use. |

Does she use XP? If so, is she also using the XP firewall? If so, disable the Windows firewall. You should only have one running at a time. If not, then she should go into the settings of Zone Alarm. Inside there is a place where you can assign programs that can get through the firewall. First. Try this. Disable the firewall, then see if she can send mail. If so, then see above. If not, then there is a problem with her email program. |

I think she using using 98 and she try to Disable firewall. She using Yahoo e mail .Had for long time before she had DSL. |

not sure about the pro version of zone alarm but cant see why that would stop yahoo email at all more likely to be something to do with yahoo . P.S scrap zone alarm and get sygate you get less problems with it crashing your system plus zone alarm can be hard to remove especially from xp systems Dark :roll: :roll: :evil: :twisted: |

I tell her that. I gave her hint about that to get rid of it I thought it Free. I got mine hook up Guy told me there ones out there that was free but this is not same company i use.I told her I had free one it won't let me play UT. thank u Jarg and Darkmatter 8) 8) |
