Looks like ole zombie dude bout to put that monkey wrench to good use.

So how are the frame rates on the game? Heard the game will choke down some pretty good systems so was curious about how that was.

And another thing.......how long you have to wait in line to pick up that little jewel? Pretty much around here if you didn't put money down before hand you were pretty much SOL.

Kewl looking game tho. Keep us posted!

Cool! I saw a review of this game on the Canadian "Space Channel" today. Thanks for the screenshot, the TV images just didn't look as good.

Please let us know how the game works out. I'm curious to know how it is similar to, and different from, Half-Life 1 and Unreal 1. All those dark corridors full of nasty, and scarey baddies brings back memories of those two.

Back to N6NU's question:

Does the game have nuclear missiles?

Chainsaw:
It tends to be a might noisy, but they do possess the power to kill quick. This a good weapons if you are backed into a corner and also a good weapon if you have your opponent cornered.

Shotgun:
It can do some extreme damage at close range, and does much less from a distance. The capacity for the Shotgun is normal at 50 rounds, but again, with the backpack, it increases to 100 shells

Super Shotgun:
The Supershot gun is similar to the regular shotgun, but more powerful and slower. This weapon is found in DOOM II, and it packs a mighty wallop when used at close range.

Chaingun:
This weapon is a 6 barreled gun. It will shoot bullets extremely fast giving you the ability to spray an area, and kill everything in it. This weapon uses the same ammo that the pistol does, so if you see clips and ammo boxes then grab them.

Plasma Gun:
A high tech toy with the ability to splatter your opponent quickly using a little amount of Cell energy. Your maximum holding capacity for the plasma Rifle is 300, but with back pack you can hold 600 Cells.
This is an excellent all around weapon.

Rocket Launcher:
The Rocket Launcher is great for long distance kills. It does incredible damage but has a very slow firing rate. Shoot and then run like hell when using this weapon.

The BFG 9k:
The BFG (Big F***ing Gun) is the most devastating weapon of all.

that all weapson i could find
don't know much about computer  I can find Imfo :D

WOW. Lot's of questions....
Quote:
What vid card do you have jarg?

ATI Radeon 9700 Pro

Quote:
So how are the frame rates on the game?

My system is a P-4 3.0
1 gig DDR 3200 (400)

I am playin it at 800x600 with no choppiness. At 1280x1024, it choked it a bit. I wanted to have high detail. The highest graphics setting warns you that the textures alone will eat up 800 mb of memory

Quote:

Preordered 8)

Quote:

The beginning reminded me a LOT of Half Life. I will keep you informed.

No... It has the original....

Quote:
The BFG 9k:
The BFG (Big F***ing Gun
)

I will install it on my P-4 2.4, Ati 9600 Pro and let you know how it plays on it.

Just got the word from the wife. Doom3 will only host up to 3 players on-line  Lets hope they make a patch for that!

YA! :( I thought it was rather strange that they didn't release a demo. DOOM and DOOM2 both were preceaded by a demo. OH Well, just have to wait and see

Yeah but Jarg said it was a 2.4 Pentium I thought. So your AMD 700 should be more than enough! Hehehe It's bad enough that we have Mac vs PC wars so why not go ahead and have Pentium vs AMD wars too. Best part for me is once again, I'm on both sides of this fence being I own a Mac, a PC, a Pentium PC and a AMD PC. Is that a real picture of you Mickey?
