Peeps, If you haven't got this yet, then you are really missing out. This version adds so much to UT. Imagaine you frag someone and a headstone with their name comes out of the ground right where you killed them. Sometimes the headstone won't pop up so instead, there is a dead man white outline on the ground like the police did in the old days. It has flame throwers, proxie mines that look look like smily faces and bounce around chasing your enemies talking smack to them until they get close enough to explode and kill them. Often the last thing you hear from a proxie mine is a last second "Incoming!" There are crossbows that shoot exploding darts and poisnous ones too. There is the famous Gravity Vortex. You shoot it on the ground and run like hell because for the next 20 seconds, you've just created a small black whole that sucks up everything and you get the kills. There is the turret luncher. It is a small robot that you plant in a certain spot and it grows into a bigger robot and all it does is shoot at everyone but you. Again, you get all of the kills. There are these laser mines that you put on the ground in certain high traffic areas. They emit a very light red laser either straight up or all the way across a room depending on whther you put it on the ground or a wall. If someone, anyone breaks the laser beam, they get torched immediately by the laser mine. There are poison grenades that you shoot and they create gas that everyone who walks through it starts losing health for the next 15 seconds. It has a grapple hook that if used properly, lets you sling around the place like spiderman. Basically, if you can see where you want to be and it less than 300 ft away, shoot it with the hook and get quickly reeled into wherever it was you wanted to go. Hit the hotkey again and it disconnects you from the grapple. You can even attack and kill with it. There are swords, axes and giant hammers too. Daggers, different versions of sniper rifles, flak cannons and rocket launchers. If you get hurt and your health is low, you can hear your own heart start beating faster and faster and louder and louder until your dead and the sweet part is you can hear other players hearts too so you can tell when they are about to die. Folks, UT has the Chaos mod but UT2K4 has really done a great job with it. I almost assure you that if you get Chaos, you won't play regular UT2K4 anymore. Let me know if you get it. |

alot of the weapons mentioned are in a version of standard ut have had lots of fun with them cant remember what mod it was right now. Dark |
