Don't ask me. I tend to have trouble with routers. They like to catch on fire at my house!

are you looking for a wireless router or hardwired one?

how many ports you need, this is for home right...4 port?

how about this one...
http://pcworld.pricegrabber.com/search_ ... rid=561564

I have this one, haven't had many problems out off it...(most of my problems seem to be pc related {for you Max}). May not be the exact one, but is very similar at least, would have to check my model...may be a newer version this one is yes....

http://pcworld.pricegrabber.com/search_ ... rid=717772

seems to work good, haven't had a single virus since I got it. (combined with Mozilla...IE suks) Pretty easy to configure....and ain't to expensive.. I did have some trouble enabling the DMZ feature and have yet to resovle that problem...just didn't seem like it was working right. (note, I may be an idiot) .but you shouldn't need dmz....just have to port your server right but its not hard. I know the ports for UT if you need them and can get most anything else you need. if you can't find it.

here is a list of many of you wanna take a peek.

I like pcworld.

ohh, btw, it hasn't caught on fire yet... :-) but herms got me worried...

I use A Linksys Wireless Router ONE (model # BEFW11S4). I haven't had any problems with it and it's fairly easy to set up. You can network up to 4 wired computers and god knows how many wirelessly. Hope that helps.

I just upgraded to a Linksys WRT54G router. That little box actually runs linux and you can get a customized 3rd party firmware for it. I use the one from sveasoft:

http://www.sveasoft.com/modules/phpBB2/index.php

It allows for traffic shaping by port or IP - that means you can priortize/devide bandwidth by protocol and IP address i.e. you do not affect the UT Server while downloading porn on another machine since the download has a lower priority :-)

Gotta love this stuff. BTW, I paid $56 for mine ...

Oh, and it does wireless as well.

What N6 has is what I'm using right now. I'm wireless to my Mac and I have CG and my game box hard wired to the router. No smoke or fire from this one yet!
