I'm having a terrible time with CG redirects from the new maps. CG isn't set to advertise while I'm testing and yet I've had about 20 visitors so far. It's late and I have an early day. Sorry this is taking longer than I thought. Another strange thing is I can see the server on the deathmatch tab but not on my lan??? This is a first for me. I dunno what I'm doing wrong??? Grrrrrrrr. Soon!

I've had the same thing happen to me before also Herm on the showing in deathmatch and not on lan. It use to do this all the time when I first started into the server bit but after 10 different installs of the server I only noticed it would show on both the past 2 times. I would not worry about it too much unless you are having a fragfest at the house and have a bunch of people coming over LOL.

That is pretty odd that you had people showing up with the server not advertised. YOU HAVE BEEN HACKED!!!! LOL!!! Just kidding bud. That is strange tho unless it has to do with all the crazy master list stuff that went on a month or so ago. *SHRUG*

Hope you get everything worked out and until then I'm still holding down the fort.

P.S. Sorry for having to bring the server down last night (Monday night around 9 CST) Had to steal my DVD drive out of it to install a new game on my main machine. Then after I got everything back together my server computer was making an awful noise. Turned out to the the processor fan biting the dust. All replaced and everything should be fine.

It was showing up last night. I saw it in the server browser. Perhaps it is a byproduct of the browser mod that we installed.

I changed several map names a long time ago in order to have the map name and the file on my computer name match the name at the bottom of the screen while you are playing the map. I have been ribbed for this by Clem already since he doesn't want to have to download the same map with a different name. He and I will come up with a naming convention but in the end, it doesn't matter what we name it because if it has a different name, it will have to be downloaded again. Many of the Deck maps have the same name and that is what started this for me. Maybe I'm being way to particular but for me, it's easier because the map name and file name actually match now for every map I have. I went through over 350+ maps launching each one just to see what it's real name was. I put many hours into this. Based on what I remember, there are only about 11 maps that actually got renamed that are default and or Bonus pack maps. I will try to figure something out.
