I have decided to take my server down for good when CG and Kid's are back up and running. I simply do not have the bandwidth to properly serve, and I can not afford to get the bandwidth. Bigi, I hope that you continue your efforts with the redeemer mod as well as with your server.

Hmmmmm? Granted I wasn't there all of the time but I did go and there were players. I don't care about having a full house just so long as I know some of the people. I hope you reconsider. I can't seem to find Bigi's server at all???

I took it down cause the the firewall-nat issue until I have more time to look at it. I don't think I have to work any OT this weekend so I should have a bit of time tonight.

That is part of the problem. Theoretically, a full house on the server would be 5. That is all. I really don't think that it is enough. I want to play on a server with a lot more than 5. I have tweaked it to support 6, at a cost of ping for broadbanders. This applies only to the 2004 server, not the UT99 one. Temporary Insanity should be able to support 8, and perhaps 9 if I squeeze it a little more. Either way, I rarely have more than 2 on at a time. I don't care if the server is never full, but I do want people to be able to enjoy it.

Some time this weekend, I will put up Fallout shelter again, and re-evaluate whether I should keep it, or drop it. If I keep it, it may change a little from it's current config. Expect more maps and mods to be added.

It's too early to worry about how many players you can support in UT2k4 anyway. I never see more than 3 other regulars from SRA in the game at any one time, and maybe one or two strangers who just happen to stop by. By the time the whole gang is active, things may be different with your ISP, too. :)
