I called Adelphia today with some issues. I asked how many people were using Cable Internet in my area... The answer

Seven

Typically, there are 500 people per "blade", and here there are only 7. I guess I should be happy. Less bandwidth competition.

My neighborhood is the other way around. I counted 35 WIFI networks while walking around my house with a network snifer!!!

You want issues Jarg? My connection is so slow I play today and then I have to check back tomorrow to see how I did. :evil: .
After moving last November I ended up with a 56k connection running at 26.4k. I had been getting 53.2k at my old residence. I called the phone company about it and their answer was "We only guarantee 14.4". Visions of a Lily Tomlin character flashed in my head. I was then told you might have different wiring. I wish i had the presence of mind to ask " What is it now? String?" GRRRRRR

Now you guys know why I haven't been on.

Well don't feel too bad Mah. UT2k4 is nice, and Onslaught is a blast the first few times you play it; but Herm and I were talking the other night and we pretty much agree that redeemer arena in UT99 works a lot better.
