Ok Herm, you're the one who wants me on Yahoo messenger, so you can give me a valid U.S. zip code. Just look one up from some local business down your way and post it here. I can't finish the registration process because the program is too stupid to recognize valid Canadian postal codes, even though it suggests that it can in the dialogue box. It didn't matter what I did, it wouldn't accept the postal codes I gave it, even my real one. :? So you find me one, ok? |

77036, 77089, 77057, 77054. Hope this helps! The big trick will be having more than two people talking in the same chat room on Yahoo. I know it can be done, I've just never done it. I look forward to trying with you and Scify. |

Sorry Blonde Hottie. You have the AOL that I don't like very much. Yahoo simply rules with the one exception that it cannot unlike MSN Messenger send request to remotely take over a PC for help. You should give it a shot. |

Here's a question for you: Does a valid U.S. zip code give out so much information that anyone can figure out exactly which street you live on, and even perhaps which house, in your town? You can do that with Canadian postal codes, which is why I never give out my real one over the internet. (I share my postal code with only one other house.) Usually I just give ones for the Toronto area, and if the website or program rejects it as invalid, I just tinker with it a bit until I get one that works. So, can you be tracked down in the USA from your zip code? |

Nope. I live in 94025 and that is the whole town of Menlo Park, CA with 55,000 residents ... They can be a bit more accurate with the 4-digit addon like: 94025-5121 N6 |

77036 is for a part of Houston. Several 100,000 people share that one zip code if not millions. Here, we'd have to have a street name and the zip code and the street address and possibly the city in order to find someone. So, you see, you are very safe using any of the one's I gave you. And Nameless please don't be so paranoid. I tracked down who you were and where you lived years ago and see, nothing bad happened. Are you still in the W.P.P.? Witness Protection Program? LOL |
